Hey guys! Heres my First skin! Its not in-game, but i do have a pic of its skin~

NOW i want to put it in-game. What filetype (jpeg, bmp, dds) does it have to be?

Please comment on my skin! Very Happy

Okay, I'll tell you how to get it in game, but first my comment. Well, I know it's your first skin so I want be hard on 'ya but it needs some serious texture and detail. And maybe making the colors less redioactive would help. But for a first skin it's not bad, at least it's original. Anyways to get it in game it can be any pic file type, just convert it to a dds. file and then open it up with a hex editor. Then find the original rex's dds. code in the Juditriverb tml and paste the new rex code over the old one. And there's your skin in game. However, to get rid of the blocks around the teeth, convert it to a tga. file format then in your skin edditing program add a alpha channel and use the ereaser tool to erease around the teeth. After you have save it and from there, convert it into a dds.

Oh and thank you very much super spino, it was originally going to be dark powder blue-ish with yellow stripes, but i messed up.

How do i convert it into a dds.?

You need a DDS Converter, the skinning toturial on MG has linked one into their toturial for people to download. Try that, I personally use it.

It's a nice skin. Smile

For beginners who are just learning how to skin, I reccomend using the special tools on Photoshop to mess around with the texture a bit. Outline the bits you want detailed, put them onto a seperate layer and then go to one of the texture tools and adjust to your liking. Wink It just makes it look a little bit less... solid.

Thanks sarge! I have to go to church lol, but il work on it today and update it with the texturized skin, and an in-game version.
