Tyrannosaurus Rex
i love T-Rex, big, love to hunt (just like me), have a nice jaw, bone crushing jaw, but however, what up with the hand???
i mean it's so tiny, like it's useless, i dunno what it's use for, i don't know why God even made such a tiny arm

Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
lol, the trex is tight. and i think, though im not sure cuz i have no proof, but i believe that teh arm was pretty much useless. it had no strength and was to small to reach for anything.

Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Tyrannosaurus Rex was a theropod from the Late Cretaceous period. Like most theropods, it is carnivorous. It does not scavenge all of time; it hunts.
Tyrannosaurus Rex= Tyrant Lizard King.
And the arms were actually quite useless, obviously the mouth had more function.

Your wrrrooooooonnnnggggg
Trex scavenged. All carnivores scavenge. I'm not saying it wasn't a killing machine, apex hunter that it was, but I am saying that it wouldn't pass up a perfectly good carcass.

Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Correct. Dinosaurs(carnivores) Will find the meat they can. Mostly fresh meat. Recently killed. It makes it easier for them.
Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
I'm going to have to agree with RR on this one, cause any carn will scavenge even Tyrannosaurus rex.
Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Andy's got a point there. But why the tiny arms! Maybe they were used for cooking meat? LOL
Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Lol, maybe they were for nothing. I'm not saying thet always scavenged but they did probaly.
Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Maybe it was there. Because lots of animals have arms, so it just some how adapted, and made it small. And just was there.
Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
the trex was a hunter, it hunted its kills. but that doesnt mean that it was also not a scavenger, it was a mighty dino that put fear ( if you would call whatever dinos felt fear) in many of the other species, due to this most would likely not try to fight it were it to come and try to steal their kill. so its really likely that it was both a scavenger and a hunter if need be, all life forms follow a basic instict "survival of the fittest" and will try whatever they can to survive.
as to their arms, they were useless. due to its size, a trex most likely couldnt use them, and even if it could, they were likely to weak to do anything anyways. trexs usually used their size and large head for any hunting/fighting that they did.
at least this is how i see it, but who knows

i agree
raptors rule wrote:Why wouldn't they?If one seen a live herb and a dead herd which will it go to?
I say the live one, T-Rex doesn't want to be fed, it wanted to hunt, eat what they kill, of course if the dead one is the only things that was there, T-Rex would chose that

Re: Tyrannosaurus Rex
yes, but for any being the first and main instict is survival, most will do whatever it takes to live. its just nature, as stated by Darwin " Only the Strong survive" and the strong will do what it takes to do just that
